Registration is officially open + we're hoping you'll join us?
There are places + experiences that stick with you for a lifetime – Korea has always been that place for me.
Almost a decade ago, I lived in South Korea, and it was there that I first fell in love with Korean beauty, skincare, food, culture, and the (sometimes chaotic) rhythm of everyday life. Korea changed the way I saw beauty, but more than that, it changed the way I saw the world. It sparked a curiosity in me that eventually became part of the foundation for Kin Aesthetics.
Every time I return, I’m reminded of how vibrant Korea is. I love wandering down side streets with no real destination, finding tiny restaurants tucked into alleys, people watching from a café, getting completely lost in skincare stores, and eating food that I’ll think about for months afterward.
There is an energy to Seoul that is almost impossible to describe until you’ve experienced it for yourself. And somehow, in the middle of a city that is constantly moving, time seems to slow down for me.
I’ve wanted to share that experience with our community for a long time.
So October 2027 Kin Aesthetics is going to Korea—and we’re bringing 10 estheticians with us.
This Isn't Just a Skincare Trip...
Of course, skincare is going to be a very big part of it.
But this trip is about experiencing the world behind the products.
We spend so much time learning about Korean skincare from an ingredient list, a treatment protocol, a training manual, or a screen. This is an opportunity to step outside of the treatment room and see where these products and philosophies come from.
We’ll meet the people behind the brands, train with them, ask questions, experience treatments, eat together + immerse ourselves in Korean beauty and culture in a way that simply cannot be recreated in an online training.
We want you to leave Korea understanding these brands differently—but also feeling inspired in your own work as an esthetician.
Our Journey Begins in Seoul
We’ll fly into Seoul and make our home at RYSE, Autograph Collection in Hongdae, one of Seoul’s most energetic neighborhoods. RYSE sits in the heart of Hongdae, surrounded by shopping, restaurants, cafés, art, music, and plenty of opportunities to simply step outside and start exploring.
And that is exactly how we want the trip to begin!
Your first full day will be open. No classroom or packed itinerary – just Seoul.
Sleep in if you need to, find a coffee shop, wander through Hongdae, or eat something you can't pronounce.
That initial day is there intentionally. We want you to settle in, adjust, and experience Korea for yourself before we begin training.
Then, we get to work.
Learn From the Brands
Over the course of the trip, we'll spend dedicated training days with the brands you already know through Kin.
We'll spend a day immersed with Dermathod, going deeper into the products, treatments, technology, and philosophy behind the line.
We'll have another dedicated training experience with Corthe, giving us the opportunity to learn directly from the people who know these formulations best.
Then we'll leave Seoul and take the train to Daegu, where we'll spend the day with Thesera. It's also a chance to see another side of Korea while also experiencing the brand in its home environment.
From there, we'll return to Seoul and meet with KrX for another day centered around education + treatment protocols.
For us, that direct access is what makes this trip so special.
And Then, We Enjoy Korea
We have absolutely no intention of bringing you all the way to Korea and keeping you inside a classroom the entire time. As mentioned, there will be room to explore, time to shop, and of course, we can't let you leave without a spa day.
There will be moments when we're all together and moments when you can wander off and experience Seoul on your own (if you want to).
We've been thoughtful about the restaurants included throughout the trip because food is such an important part of experiencing Korea. Some meals will be familiar, while others might push you slightly outside of your comfort zone, but that's all part of the fun.
A translator will also be with us throughout the experience, making it easier to connect, learn, ask questions, and navigate the moments when language might otherwise create a barrier. Our goal is to take care of the details so that you can actually be present for the experience.
What's Included
The investment for the trip is $5,100 per person – everything except airfare and souvenir shopping/snacks are included.
Your accommodations, transportation within the planned itinerary, brand education and training experiences, scheduled meals, translator support, spa experience, and planned group activities are included.
You are responsible for booking your own flight to and from Seoul, which gives you some flexibility if you'd like to arrive early, extend your stay, or use airline points.
And yes, you should probably leave room in your suitcase for skincare!
Why Only 10 Estheticians?
Because we don't want this to feel like a conference. We want it to feel personal.
With only 10 estheticians joining us, we'll be able to move through Korea as a small group, spend meaningful time with the brands, sit around a table together, ask questions, and actually get to know one another.
Ultimately, our hope is that you come home with new ideas for your business, a deeper appreciation for Korean skincare, new relationships within the industry, and a camera roll full of moments you didn't expect.
An Important Note About Booking
Because this is a small, highly coordinated international experience with only 10 available spaces, your $5,100 trip payment is due in full at the time of booking.
Once registered, each attendee will also be required to provide proof of comprehensive travel event insurance covering the full $5,100 cost of the trip. This requirement is there to help protect your investment should an unexpected covered circumstance prevent you from traveling.
Due to the advance commitments required to secure hotels, transportation, trainings, reservations, and other experiences for such a small group, trip payments are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or credited once your space has been reserved. For that reason, we strongly encourage reviewing your travel insurance coverage carefully so you understand which circumstances are covered before finalizing your booking. Checkout Allianz + Faye.
We will reach out after booking to obtain proof of travel/event insurance. If proof cannot be provided within 14 days, we will issue a refund, and the spot will go to the next esthetician.
