Melapro Cold Peel

Hyperpigmentation

An oil-based, non-keratolytic formula built for stubborn pigmentation without the downtime of traditional peels. It works at the melanocyte level with 10% 4-Butylresorcinol as the active—a next-generation tyrosinase inhibitor.

  • Inhibits tyrosinase activity at the melanocyte level, addressing melasma, PIH, and discoloration.

Pre-Care

For clients prone to PIH or with melanin-rich skin, begin a tyrosinase inhibitor several weeks prior to support outcomes. Discontinue exfoliating actives 7 days prior to treatment.

In Treatment Experience

Melapro may tingle or itch, both of which are normal.

Post Treatment Care

Home care is tailored to each client's primary skin concerns.

Treatment Cadence

A series of 3, every few weeks is recommended.

Impaired barrier, any allergies to ingredients, pregnancy, allergy to aspirin.

Cleanse + Prep

Prepare skin by cleansing with KrX Pre Cleansing Oil as a pre-cleanse followed by KrX Pre Peel Cleanser.

Treatment Steps
  1. Apply KrX Pre Peel Toner to degrease the skin.
  2. Apply up to 3 layers of Melapro to skin. Leave on for up to 10 minutes. Length of time will depend on client.
  3. Remove with cold water, and follow with KrX Post Peel Toner.
  4. Apply a soothing sheet mask.
Finishing Steps

Apply KrX Repair Cream followed by SPF.
